Mr. Tshering Wangchuk completed his Master degree (Political Science) in the First Division. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in BA Political Science and Sociology in 2015.
He was the recipient of His Majesty’s Certificate for Academic Excellence to the Academic Toppers for his Bachelor Degree’s academic performance including multiple recipient of Dean’s List for academic excellence.

He has researched and presented on the topic “Evolution of National Day Addresses from 2006-2018’. And also worked on a research topic titled as “Cultural Wisdom and Sustainable Development in Satsam Chorteon”. He has also worked as an Assistant Researcher for the research project “Understanding, Developing, and Supporting Meaningful Work for Youth with Disabilities in Bhutan: Networks, Communities, and Transitions” from July, 2019 to July, 2020. And has travelled extensively across Bhutan for the purpose of data collection while serving in the project.
He has also been a part of Erasmus+ mobility programme in the Netherlands from 13th- 25th January, 2019.

Currently, he is researching on the change in ownership of temple in Tshento Gewog with a tentative topic titled as “Change in monastery ownership in Tshento Gewog within the larger local and national political and social dynamics”

He has been in the teaching profession since 2017. And at the moment, he coordinates Rigter Mind Meet.
