Mr. Tashi Tobgay has a Bachelor in Buddhist Philosophy and Master in the same discipline from Central University of Tibetan Studies in Sarnath, Varanasi, India.
He taught Dzongkha at Gedu College of Business Studies Sanskrit and Lhadri (painting) at College of Language and Culture Studies. Tashi Tongay also taught Dzongkha Literature at Pasakha Ugyen Dorji Choekhorling Monastery (Gonzin Dratshang). Further, he served as a volunteer teacher and taught Tibetan history, grammar and Buddhist philosophy to Tibetan Community at Norgayling (Nagpur, India).
Funded by Annual University Research Grant (AURG), he conducted research on Culture of using Dzongkha reading and writing in the offices. He also participated in several workshops on research and VLE initiated by Gedu College of Business Studies. Tashi Tobgay also participated in qualitative data analysis and report writing workshop organized by College of Language and Culture Studies and translation workshop conducted by Central University of Tibetan Studies in Sarnath, Varanasi, India.
