Ms. Singye Dema holds a master’s degree in World Literature from Nalanda University, India, where she conducted research on Bhutanese Society Through the Lens of Kunzang Choden: A Study of The Circle of Karma. She completed her bachelor’s degree in English from Sherubtse College, Royal University of Bhutan, Kanglung.

In addition to her academic qualifications, Ms. Singye has participated in several professional development programs, including Peer Facilitator Training and Mapping Workshops with the Bhutan Centre for Media and Democracy (BCMD). She has also completed the 7th Leadership Training Programme, a Prevention of Sexual Harassment course, and participated in the Asian-Pacific Region Messengers of Peace Conference. Furthermore, she has engaged in Stress Management, Globalizing the Messengers of Peace (MoP) Network for Rovers, and other courses aimed at the Familiarization, Promotion, and Sustainability of Bhutanese Culture and Religion.

Ms. Singye co-published a children’s book during her college years, alongside her peers, and has presented research at international seminars, including the Indic and South East Asian Perspectives in Conceptualizing World Literature conference.
Her extensive academic background, combined with her diverse extracurricular and leadership experiences, uniquely positions herself to contribute to the academic growth and personal development of students.
