Mr. Dorji Tshering from Trashigang holds a Masters (Acharya) Qualification in Buddhist Philosophy from Tango Buddhist University, Bhutan. He possesses an experience in teaching Dzongkha for more than a decade and half in numerous institutions. Previously, he served as a principal at Drolung Sangag Choeling Monastery and later served as a Dzongkha teacher at Rinchen Higher Secondary School and Sersang Primary School.

In 2016-2021, he was a full-time lecturer at Royal Thimphu College and was closely engaged in facilitating Royal Civil Service Examination coaching classes for the college graduates. Besides his rich teaching experience, he has undertaken various research on diverse areas including Buddhist philosophy, Bhutanese monarchy and cultural heritage. He has a deep enthusiasm for reading, writing and teaching.
