Eligibility
Check your eligibility to ensure you meet programme requirements before applying for admission at NRC.
The minimum admission requirements for different programmes are outline below:
BBA – Four Year Programme
Applicants who have completed BHSEC or an equivalent qualification must have passed Class XII with a minimum of 50% aggregate (best four subjects), pass in Maths/Business Maths (40%), and pass in Dzongkha.
BCom – Four Year Programme
Applicants who have completed BHSEC or an equivalent qualification must have passed Class XII with a minimum of 50% aggregate (best four subjects), pass in Maths/Business Maths (40%), and pass in Dzongkha.
BA in English and Dzongkha – Three Year Programme
Applicants who have completed BHSEC or an equivalent qualification must have passed Class XII with a minimum of 50% in both Dzongkha/Rigzhung and English.
BA in Political Science and Sociology – Three Year Programme
Applicants who have completed BHSEC or an equivalent qualification must have passed Class XII with a minimum aggregate of 50% (best four subjects) and at least 50% in English.
BA in Development Studies – Three Year Programme
Applicants who have completed BHSEC or an equivalent qualification must have passed Class XII with a minimum of 55% in English and pass in Dzongkha.
BA in English – Four Year Programme
Applicants who have passed BHSEC or an equivalent Class XII qualification must have a minimum of 60% in English and pass in Dzongkha.
Note:
- Meeting the above minimum eligibility criteria does not automatically guarantee admission. Admission will be subject to the availability of seats.
- Admission is open to students from Science, Commerce and Arts streams.
- Applicants who have not studied Dzongkha/Rigzhung in class XII will be required to pass Dzongkha proficiency test.
